that's me, Jem
Hi, I'm Jemma.
After years of studying interior design and working in early childhood education, everything changed when I became a mum in 2018. I realised I wanted to do something I was truly passionate about—something that combined all my strengths and creativity. Photography became exactly that.
From capturing families and interiors to creating content for social media and working with businesses that are rebranding, I’ve found my purpose behind the camera. It’s my absolute passion to work with people who want to bring their images and stories to life.
I'M SO GLAD YOU'RE HERE

A little more about me...
I’m married to my high school sweetheart—we’ve been together for 18 years and married for 12. We have two beautiful children who are our world. Even though I run my own business, I still think of myself as a stay-at-home mum. I may not work a traditional 9–5, but it definitely feels more like a 24/7 job!

Owning a small business has been one of the most rewarding things I’ve done. I love connecting with people and bringing their vision to life through photography—whether that’s brand content, interiors, portraits, or lifestyle imagery. There’s a lot that goes on behind the scenes, far more than I ever understood before starting my business, but I honestly wouldn’t have it any other way. Being able to work around my family while doing something I’m passionate about is an incredible privilege.

I’ve studied at Bible College, Auckland University Teachers College, and in Interior Design, but photography has always been where my heart lands. My love for design, my experience working with people, and my ability to create a relaxed, natural environment all play a big part in how I approach my work behind the camera.
